Stephen (Steve) H. Taylor - President

Steve grew up in La Canada and came to San Diego to attend college and play baseball. He started Silk Screen Shirts with a fraternity brother producing t-shirts and such for the local fraternities and sororities. One thing led to another and before too long they were doing all the uniforms for the local restaurants. By the mid 70's Silk Screen shirts was manufacturing all it's own golf shirts as it could not buy enough garments through Jantzen or Career Club (at the time the two largest manufacturers in the country). Steve married in 1978 and has 4 great kids. Two of his boys are now involved, full time, in the company. Steve has a BS in Business Administration from SDSU and resides in Escondido. Steve's a guy's kind of guy. Loves all sports and even plays baseball now and then! Rumor has it that the LA Dodgers wanted him way back when. He decided SSS would be way more fun!

Laura D Wile - Vice President

Laura was born in Lundstuhl, Germany and moved to the states a long time ago (God forbid you know her age!) She grew up in San Diego and attended the University of Arizona where she received a double major in Economics and Marketing. Laura joined the crew at Silk Screen Shirts after spending a winter in Vail skiing and just having lots of fun. She has worked in all aspects of the company from managing inventories to pulling a squeegee. She now handles large and small national accounts and oversees a little of everything. Laura has 3 great kids that keep her way too busy and making sure they're not in trouble. Someone here says they saw some pictures of her in Vogue, but no that can't be true?

Linda Parker - Accounting Manager

Linda was born and raised in San Diego and is a true adventurer. She attended college in Oklahoma and she was glad to get back to beautiful Southern California. Linda enjoys the company of her two kids and grandkids and doesn't miss a chance to get out hiking and biking! She's cheerful, hard-working and a true pleaser! Watch the nightly news to see if you see her in a local competition!

Melanie Solo - Director of Purchasing

Melanie was born and raised in Oceanside, CA. She has an extensive background in office management including purchasing, collections, human resources and much more! She even worked in the vault of a casino! Melanie has 3 children (4 if you count her husband)keeping her busy when she's not at work. She is a miracle worker when it comes to finding merchandise and saving our customers money. Melanie is a true asset and we couldn't manage without her. Just for fun ask her to find something really difficult like tie dyed tank tops!

Will Regan - Director of Sales

Will used to be the baby of the bunch. He joined the SSS team in 2001 as an outside sales rep and now knows all the "ins and outs" of the business. He is creative, fun, and a real go getter. If you're lucky to have him as your rep, never let him go! Will is from a big San Diego family. He attended Cal State San Marcos where he earned a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in service management.! Will is a terrific addition to our team and will keep us all young and creative.

Gary Borg - Senior Sales Rep and ASI Wizard

Gary has been with SSS since 1987, need we say more! He is so experienced in all aspects of the company, our true resident expert. Gary is extremely knowledgeable in the Ad Specialty Industry and can find anything at a great price, just ask him! He handles local and national accounts and oversees many of our in-house corporate accounts. Gary graduated from Western State in Colorado with a degree in Business Administration. He worked in the sales field in Colorado before moving to California. Gary is married and has two boys all grown and on their own. He loves to sail and he and wife Lyn volunteer with numerous charitable organization throughout our city. He is a gem and we are blessed to have him on our team.

Cameron Taylor - Custom Accounts

Cameron has been working for SSS, off and on, since he was 7 years old. His first job was scraping tape off the production floor and he was really good and dependable. But all good deeds must come to an end and Cameron worked his way up to running an automatic press during his summer vacations, making us all laugh and smile. Cameron recently graduated from Long Beach State with a degree in business and anatomy and brail (just kidding). He has moved back to San Diego and is enjoying working at SSS with longtime friends and family. Cameron loves all sports and you can find him, on any given weekend, playing or watching baseball, football, tennis, waterskiing or any other fun and adventurous activities.

Steve is one of the most recent addition to Silk Screen Shirts…as if we needed another Steve! Seriously, Steve brings a wealth of experience in this industry, having handled all phases of the business. From daily operations to sales and marketing, Steve has done it all. And he has done it from both an employer running his own business to an employee focusing on his clients. Steve has been involved in the Action Sports Industry for over 25 years, and is expanding his reach with Custom Accounts.

Loinda Teague - Custom Accounts

Lorinda was born and raised on a farm in Missouri where she later attended the University of Missouri in Columbia with a bachelor degree in merchandising and marketing. She has two great children who are both attending college, and when she's not at SSS she spends her time as a person fitness trainer. With over 10 years of sales experience, Lorinda brings a wealth of knowledge for her clients! Anyone who has the privlegdge of working with Lorinda knows how dedicated she is to ensuring that her clients goals are always a top priority! She does an incredible job of ensuring timelines are met and the products are always the best in the market!

Kelly Taylor - Customer Service

Kelly is the youngest, and only girl in the Taylor family making her the "favorite". She is currently attending school at SDSU studying event planning and also finds time to help manage our customer service department. She enjoys spending time at the beach and with her family. When not at the beach, Kelly enjoys yoga, hiking, and biking around north county. If you are one of the accounts Kelly manages, you know what a pleasure she is to work with!

Devin Harris - Customer Service

Devin was born and raised in Paris Texas where she attended Paris Junior College and received an associates degree in science. Devin and her husband recently relocated to California after her husband was stationed at our local Camp Pendleton. In her spare time, Devin loves to bake and even brings them in for the office staff to share! She has a german shepherd named Molly and loves to spend time with Molly at the dog park. While at Silk Screen Shirts, Devin manages customer service for many of our uniform accounts as well as manages the online stores.

Mario Vazquez - Floor Manager

Mario comes to SSS with a wealth of knowledge in the screen print industry. Born in Mexico and raised in Brasil, Mario's "spanish" can sometimes be a mix of Spanish and Portuguese! Mario joined the team in 2009 and manages all the production flow, warehouse employees, and print production. For fun, Mario likes to play tennis, go swimming, or work on computers.

Chad Taylor - Production Manager

Chad, like big brother Cameron, has been involved with Silk Screen Shirts, on and off, since he was very young. He too began scraping tape off the floor in the production area. After attending Palomar Community College, Chad decided to make Silk Screen Shirts a full time occupation. With hard work and dedication Chad is the production manager and has overseen the doubling of our facility space, staff and production capabilities. Chad enjoys skateboarding, softball and snowboarding and an occasional night on the town.

Dylan Lee - Pre-Production / Development

Dylan has been one of the best additions to the SSS team in years! Originally from Alaska, Dylan has ventured down to California in the presuit of extended education in Graphic arts and to begin his career in screen printing and apparel production. Dylan brings a unique outlook on production becuase of his diverse background. He has been a production manager, designer, general manager and ran an art department! All of this knowledge together makes for a very well rounded addition to the team! He enjoys fashion, snowboarding, skateboarding, and life in the 951!

Angie Martinez - Shipping Manager

Angie was born and raised in Oceanside, California where she and her husband have 3 kids. Angie comes from a large, local family and holds the SSS record of the most nieces and nephews at 20! Angie has a extensive background in the screen printing and apparel industies with over 19 years of experience! She brings an unmatched eye for quality and manages a solid crew that consistently keeps orders on time and accurate! She will tackle any project and enjoys the challenge of finding the best solution possible!
